Minimum Stays Please note that there is a minimum stay requirement which is shown in the main price list. Where minimum stays are allowed, the nightly price is shown. During July, August and September, the chalets must be booked weekly running from Saturday to Saturday and a minimum 7 nights stay applies. See the price list and minimum stay information
Weekly Discounted Rates Weekly discounts are available on some weeks. The discount shown and weekly rate is based on booking 7 consecutive nights. These nights do not have to run from Saturday to Saturday.
Booking 14 Nights If you are booking 14 nights and one week is discounted and the other is not, you will need to book these two weeks seperately through the booking system to get the full discounts. Our system cannot merge and apply weeks where one week is full price and the other is discounted. We apologise for this! Please call 0791 9191481 if you need help.
Long Term Winter Lets If you would like to book a longer term winter let of more than 28 days, please telephone Alan on 0791 9191481
Linen and Towels Linen bundles are available at £7.00 for a single set and £10.00 for a double set. This includes a pillow case, a sheet and a duvet cover. Please note that if you are using the futon in the lounge, then this requires a double set. Towels are available at £2.50 per set and includes one hand towel and one bath towel. When booking, these are selected as optional extra's.
Dogs We accept one small (ish) well behaved dog per chalet. We do not accept medium or large dogs such as Labradors, German Shepherds or Collies. The reason for this is that the Chalets are too small for larger dogs. We do not accept any dog that is badly behaved or considered dangerous. Dogs must not under any circumstances be left alone in the Chalet.You are responsible for your dog at all times and please note that any damage to the chalet, it's contents or furniture will have to be paid for. Please note that dogs must be kept on leads around Norton Park. Dogs are charged at £20 per stay. Please choose this option when booking. Payments, Deposits and Cancellations
If you are making an advanced booking, you pay a deposit of just 30%. The balance is due 60 days before your holiday date.
If you cancel more than 60 days from your arrival date, a full refund of any money you have paid will be provided less a £30 admin fee.
If you are booking under 60 days from when you want to arrive, full payment is due when booking.
No refunds are given on cancellations within 60 days of arrival.

Cancellation Cancellation up to 60 days before your booking arrival date will be refunded in full less a £30 admin fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations after this time and we strongly recommend taking out your own holiday insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances. Arrival and Departures Arrival and departure times must be strictly adhered to. We have these times because we have multiple changeovers on the same day - so we have lots of chalets to clean and get ready! PLEASE do not arrive before 3pm. Our stats from 2017 say almost 20% of our visitors did. We cannot clean your chalet with you and your luggage there!! If you arrive early, pop into Dartmouth for a wander or the Sainsburys a minute down the road has a coffee shop. You can also call us on 0791 9191 481 to check the status of your chalet.

Smoking - Please read carefully We do not under any circumstances allow smoking in the chalets. We offer family holidays and do not want our chalets and furniture to smell of smoke. You can however smoke outside. Please respect the other people using the chalets during the year. Any breach of the smoking conditions will result in you being asked to leave immediately. We also reserve the right to charge you £100 for a deep clean of the chalet. Parking There is one parking space per chalet. Let us know if you are bringing more cars. Although there are numbered spaces at Norton Park, you can park in any bay close to the chalet. If you do have a problem with someone telling you that you can't park in a numbered bay, please call us on 0791 9191 481 or 07412 061985 or refer the person making the complaint to us by telephone.
Chalet General Terms and Conditions
Chalets are let on a self catering basis. No serviced catering is provided at the chalet or at Norton Park.
The old hotel is no longer at Norton Park. As such, there are no facilities such as a bar or restaurant on site. Dartmouth is just a mile away and has a wide range of places to eat and drink.
The holiday accommodation is specifically provided for couples and family holidays. Bookings for single sex parties, groups of unaccompanied teenagers, or persons not forming part of a family unit will not be accepted.
The booking is only valid for persons named on the booking form.
Any damage or breakages must be paid for. If something happens, PLEASE let us know!
Please do not leave any hot electrical appliance on the floor or carpet - especially hair straighteners. They burn and represent a fire risk.
Behaviour whilst on the site must be such as not to cause a nuisance or annoyance, or in any way interfere with the quiet, comfort or enjoyment of any other person on the site.
All chalets are strictly non smoking.
Cleaning The Chalet is cleaned and prepared for your arrival and is presented in a clean and tidy manner. We ask you to leave the chalet in a clean and tidy manner when you leave. We do not expect you to have cleaned the chalet from top to toe as we have cleaners on turn around days! However, if significant additional cleaning is required due to the state of the chalet, then we do reserve the option to charge you £50 for a deep clean. To put it in perspective, this has only happened once in a the last 3 years.
Bicycles Bicycles are not under any circumstances to be placed in the property.
Electricity The chalets have coin metres that take £1 and £2 coins. A typical weekly budget is about £10.00 but bear in mind it is dependant on how many people there are in the chalet and the time of year. The central heating is electric (not gas) so expect to pay more in the colder months.
In the event of a breach of any of the foregoing conditions, the applicants shall, if the management requests, vacate the bungalow and leave the site without entitlement to compensation and Devon Chalet Holidays shall have no liability to the applicants.
